James Fisher & Sons (‘JFS’) is a global marine services provider headquartered in England. Operating in the energy, defence, and maritime transport sectors, JFS employs around 2,000 people and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

JFS engaged konkconsulting to develop and implement a custom talent management system, addressing its particular staff-related requirements. The resultant system enables JFS’s HR practitioners to stratify staff and cater to individual categories, defined by parameters such as work location and staff ratings.

Given the sensitive nature of the underlying data the system incorporates robust security, including field-level access control for role-based screens.  Impersonation capabilities allow administrators to troubleshoot, without compromising data integrity or internal governance policies.
