iLAB announces acquisition of Brazil-based SQA business SVLabs.

Group business iLAB, a Software Quality Assurance specialist, recently announced the acquisition of Sao Paulo, Brazil-headquartered SVLabs. Led by Luciana Maglio, SVLabs has a rich, three-decade track record in software testing in the local market, with an approach based on combining Japanese techniques with American innovation.

Founded by Akiko Tanigami, SVLabs has earned renown for developing world-class testing methodologies, particularly for specialized domains such as payment processing systems.

‘Joining iLAB will allow us to expand our vistas geographically and by way of new lines of business, and we’re excited about both’, said Ms. Maglio. ‘We’re also keen to see our know-how and Intellectual Property feature in iLAB businesses in other parts of the world’, she added.
