Group affiliated business RIVOR Advisory carries out analysis and business case development for a foreign dentist training and accreditation program in Australia.

Australia is experiencing an acute shortage of dentists and to address the gap (no pun intended), a leading oral health provider initiated a program to attract skilled foreign dentists to the country. This was at best a qualified success because whilst it attracted foreign professionals, perhaps unsurprisingly, skill levels fell short of expectations.

The health provider then sought to develop a training program aimed at improving skill levels and as a prelude thereto, engaged RIVOR to conduct an analysis encompassing supply, demand and profitability considerations, and to develop a business case to examine the spend necessary to build and deploy the program.

The business case passed the test of the predetermined investment criteria resulting in a green light from the Board of Directors, and the new program is under development.
