Danie Loots, Associate Partner with Advance.io in South Africa, earns Private Pilot License.

On Thursday March 28th, Danie successfully flew his initial flight test and emerged with a freshly minted Private Pilot License. A few adverse factors had conspired to slow his progress in recent months, but colleague Mike Hartman’s success on this front served as the impetus for Danie to forge ahead and complete the training, paving the way to his flight test.

Danie’s nervous tension on the morning of the examination was exacerbated by inclement weather conditions, that thankfully improved within a few hours. The relief and gratitude he felt when hearing the news from the testing officer of having passed, was palpable. Danie is now getting underway with advanced training, with a plan to complete his night training during the next few months.
