ClearSky Consulting, a Group Elephant business, deploys new Infor technology and refines Workforce Management processes for Averitt.

Founded in 1958, Tennessee-based Averitt is a leading provider of freight transportation and supply chain management, operating in 143 locations and serving thousands of points in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Averitt sought ways to improve operational efficiency, and fortify compliance with Department of Transportation regulations governing driver time management. With an antiquated Workforce Management system running on iSeries, they recognized the pressing need for selective technology modernization.

Averitt recently appointed ClearSky to implement Infor WFM, and to integrate the new technology with existing Infor CloudSuite HCM and FSM systems. They expect the system modernization to improve data transparency, administrative efficiency and decision-support capabilities across the enterprise. Averitt also initiated development of two proof of concept APIs designed to address compliance requirements and streamline communication with Fleet Management software utilities. As the engagement nears completion, myriad benefits are keenly anticipated from the revamped systems, in pursuit of improved financial performance.
