Group business ClearSky Consulting, an Infor-certified alliance partner, deploys Infor Workforce Management for Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA).
The NFTA is a regional multi-modal transportation authority responsible for airport and surface transportation in Erie and Niagara counties. NFTA/NFTM businesses include a bus, rail and paratransit system, the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and the Niagara Falls International Airport.
As part of a strategy to move applications to an integrated Infor-based platform and with the support of ClearSky, NFTA recently completed the deployment of Infor’s Workforce Management (WFM) technology. The new Infor WFM functionality positions NFTA for paperless process streamlining and the benefits of WFM’s robust capabilities and reporting. The increased accuracy and efficiency in time tracking will yield a rapid return on investment and the WFM system has provided functionality that is compliant with the NFTA’s business and main agreement requirements. NFTA’s people can now record time with real-time updates on attendance and leave approvals, while operations can access powerful reporting capabilities and make faster staff planning decisions based on higher quality data than in the past.
In addition to implementing the core functionality, ClearSky worked with NFTA to configure bi-directional integration between WFM and Infor S3, while including additional functionality such as on-demand file exports from S3 to WFM and capabilities, for pre-load file notifications and review. The engagement also included the implementation of InforOS as a Single-Sign-On system, providing users with the ability to navigate to one URL for all Infor-related applications, while managing only their network credentials. This has dramatically simplified system access for employees.
